All families are unique and beautiful in their own way. Families shift and change with new members through marriage and children and change due to loss with death or divorce. We all need a safe space to process through different developmental stages in life’s transitions. Grace Therapy Services supports individuals and families through systems change. We use a family-centered and systems approach to individual change, which means that even when we see you individually for therapy, the focus is on change through a strengths-based systemic lens. Family therapy is an approach to therapy that involves multiple family members to make change in their relationships. Family therapy may include all family members, or members that are willing to participate. The skills learned in family therapy are targeted to extend beyond the current struggle and meant to deepen your family connections for future struggles as well.
Couples counseling is often sought after or during a specific crisis in the relationship; however, couples therapy can be important for “tune ups” in relationships as well.
