Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an evidenced based mental health treatment modality designed to improve a person's overall feelings of self-worth and improve daily functioning.
​
DBT supports individuals struggling with severe or long-term mental health challenges and that may benefit from more than once a week therapy.

Individuals will benefit from learning skills and developing resources in the following areas:

Mindfulness
Distress Tolerance
Interpersonal Effectiveness
Self-Regulation

Mindfulness Skills Therapy Group
Fridays 9:00-10:30am
Mindfulness skills are part of DBT skills and this group aims to hone in on the specific skills of a mindfulness based practice. The mindfulness skill group includes meditation, reflective discussion, journaling, and learning skills to support present mindedness. Stress reduction and tension reduction techniques are embedded into each group along with consistent opportunities to use the what and how skills of mindfulness in DBT.

Grief and Loss Therapy Group
Wednesdays 1:00-2:00pm

Loss is apart of everyone’s life at some point. This group is for individuals who may be experiencing loss related to divorce, death, independence, relationship changes or health among many things. Grieving is a universal response to any loss.

This group is an open and ongoing group. Group will provide space for telling your story and sharing as you feel comfortable. Group will include: journaling, reflecting, and developing a self care plan around your healing process.
